Quebec Junior A Hockey League [1972-1978] history and statistics

QJAHL History

The Quebec Junior A Hockey League was a Canadian Junior A hockey league that was founded for the 1972-73 season. The QJAHL was formed by the Quebec Amateur Hockey Association because in 1971-72, there was no Junior A league operating in Quebec. The prior Junior A league, also named the Quebec Junior A Hockey League, had declared itself a Major Junior league for that season, and had renamed itself the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
