The Tropical Hockey League was a Minor Professional hockey league that operated in Florida for a single season, in 1938-39. Although four cities were "represented", including Havana, Cuba, all league games were played at the Metropolitan Ice Palace in Coral Gables (aka the Coral Gables Coliseum). The Tropical Hockey League was the first hockey played in the Southern USA.
