Hi, Im trying to find out the value of the Book "The Trail of the stanley cup" This is the first edition and what make it different from the normal trail of the stanley cup book as it is #765 of 1000 and was presented only to hall of fame members or their families, inside the cover is the inscription "Presented to the family of Fred Whitcroft with the compliments of the national hockey league" the book was given to my father by fred whitcroft jr in 1967, if anyone knows its value please let me know,

These books usually go for around $100-$150. You can check Ebay to confirm this. If you would like to sell it, I would be interested - please post here.

I searched on google but can find no record of this auction. Seeing as how sets sell for a fraction of this on ebay and abebooks, the price seems suspiciously high. Anyone have more info about this particular auction?

you may not be able to find the auction, but trust that book is worth just as much maybe more, first editions are very rare considering it was only handed out to HHOF members and their families, put it away for 20 years and itll be worth a small fortune
