P.J. Stock actually received an NHL paycheck this year. He still lives in the Boston area and often calls an FM radio show that Lyndon Byers does sports for. He mentioned 1 day while I was listening that he was going to "clock-in" at the FleetCenter. It had something to do with him being injured at the time of the lockout. As a result of the injury he's still paid but the Bruins required him to show up 2-3 times a week. You could liken it to summer school. He commented that there were a handful of players in the league doing the same.

Gregg Naumenko finished the 04-05 season with the South Carolina StingRays, mostly as backup to Justin Eddy. He signd late in the season and didn't see that much ice time but did have some big games to help the StingRays make the playoffs.
