BJ Young is now playing with the Alaska Aces of the ECHL. After taking off 20 months not playing hockey he decided to try and play again. He is having a great year playing with the Alaska Aces.

B.J. Young was killed Wednesday November 30, 2005 in a single car accident in Vancover, B.C. He was a wonderful player, and an amazing person. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys...

He sent me his autographs this year.I read his story when he was killed,I can not believe,he was so young.

I'm shocked. It is so sad!! Why is it that at least one sports player dies each year. I remember when he was drafted. RIP BJ, best for the family. Very sad news ideed

I just wanted the people that wrote about my brother that I am very greatful of your memories. It has many months since he dies and i am still so sad we lost a very beautiful person. I know he touched many people and for that I know he is at peace .I love my bother very much and will for ever be mourning , B.j.'s big sister Kimee
