Question about a seller on Hockeydb.com

I was wondering if anyone else has done a deal with Slava (email: slava_cards@mschumacher.com)?

I ordered about $50 worth of Russian cards from him a long time ago and he says unfortunately the money never made it to him.

I do believe him and I know he posts stuff on this website all the time, but has anyone else run into this problem when doing business with him?

It is really frustrating and he does return all my emails but I wish I knew why my money has not made it there.

I had a similar episode - no money was involved,just cards though.

I made deal with Slava and never got my cards and he said that he never received my cards.
I've learned my lesson and now I send only registered mail to Russia. And I require registered mail from Russia

I had a similar episode as Ottawa National. I believe my trade was with "Viat_cards" the same Slava everyone is refering to. I traded for the Kirk Maltby card from the Igor Larionov Tribute set. I got my card OK but he said he didn't get the one I sent him. I sent a replacement card and later got an email back that this one was received.

I had the same problem with Slava as Mika. Right now I make only trades with Panok (Pavel), everything is OK, but to Russia I send only letters by register mail.

I have made many trades with Slava and have never had any problems at all.

i have found it best to do the REGISTERED mail thing with anyone in Russia
seems to eliminate any question of receipt of the mail by both parties
