I am a university student in the UK, studying for a degree in Information Systems. For my final year project I have decided do something with Artificial Intelligence. As I am huge NHL fan I thought I could create a piece of software that can be used to predict the outcome of an Ice Hockey match. Before the system can be used I first need to "train" the system using data from previous NHL seasons. Realistically I would need as much data as possible from as many seasons as possible (5, 10, maybe even 15 years worth). This data would not only need to show the result of each game but also anything that affected the outcome - current rosters, stats of each player, injuries, fights that occurred, whether it was home or away, number of games played in a row, whether there were any problems within the club, etc. Unfortunately, I am having difficulties gathering this sort information and was wondering if anyone could help? If anyone know where I could get this sort of data either post here or contact me on: tomglover100@aol.com
Thanks.
Thanks.
