Sandy Mccarthy, where is he?

Where on earth is Sandy Mccarthy? The database doesn't have any stats for him after the 03-04 nhl season. Did he completely retire? It's a shame, b/c even though this new nhl crap doesn't like fighting, he had quite a bit of offensive ability as well as heart. People like Eric Cairns should definately have been gone before McCarthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think so. Steve McCarthy is in Vancouver, but Sandy I don't know, but definately not in the NHL

Perhaps you ment Darren McCarty, the former Wing and another of my favorites. I like Chris Simon too, by the way is it just me or is Jay Bowumester (SP) really overrated!!

The Sandy McCarthy I am referring to was born in Toronto on June 15th, 1972. He played in the 03-04 season with both Boston and New York Rangers. He sat out last year because of the NHL lockout. Perhaps you are thinking of someone else with a similar name. Happy New Year.
