1948 Olympians

I was wondering if anyone might have address info on any of the 1948 Canadian Olympic Hockey team that won gold in St.Moritz. The members of the team were:

Murray Dowey, Bernard Dunster, Patrick Guzzo, Walter Halder, Thomas Hibbert, Heni-Andre Laperriere, John Lecompte, George Mara, Albert Renaud, Reginald Schroeter, Irving Taylor

Any help would be appreciated!

There are only five surviving members.

Dowey, Gilpin, Hibberd, Renaud and Leichnitz.

Honoured recently in Trenton by having the base rink renamed for the team. Commemorative banner raised, the works.

Halder died October 27, 1994
Laperriere is alive and living in Montreal, at least of 2008
Mara died August 30, 2006
Schroeter died July 30, 2002

Dunster, Guzzo, Lecomte and Taylor were all deceased prior to 2001, but I don't know when. It's possible that SIHR has their dates of death; if someone could check, it would be very much appreciated.

Glad someone else in interested, i think that old thread was started by me...these three got back to me...two were players and one was a trainer i think. best of luck.
