I haven't posted here in a long time but I want as many hockey fans to see this as possible.
I got this from a Message Board I belong too, we are spreading this around as much as possible and I wanted you guys to see this.... The following is a quote from someone who has seen the new jerseys Reebok is pushing for (with Bettmans support!), for all 30 NHL teams......
new uniform news for next season:
"I think there was about 10 differnet patterns on the page..each team will use one of 10 patterns
No pattern had horizontal stripes like the current jerseys have.
Most patterns have stripes along the side of the jersey and coloured shoulders (like the blue shoulders on the Leafs 3rd)
The jersey quality is equivalant to the new Team Canada jersey. The crest is not as heavy dosen't have a raised feel.
The following teams will be using new logos: Boston (believe it or not), Buffalo, San Jose, Detroit, Anaheim, Pittsburgh and Washington.
And the worst part of all....all jerseys have to be tucked in to the pants!! and the pants will have the players number on the front."
Now, we are spreading this around, becuase we want everyone to tell Reebok what they think of this... and I'm sorry to say its looking more and more likely that its gonna happen. There are no pictures becuase the NHL won't permit it, appearently Las Vegas of the AHL will show them off next week. This has been confirmed by Bob McKenzie of TSN. The GM's hate them, one GM remaining nameless said, he hates them, and if he has any say in it, he will not allow it.

I have sent them a letter they won't like, basically saying that they won't get a dime from me until they switch back and they will lose money overall. Hockey has alot of tradition in their jerseys, and reebok is about to piss on it.
I'm sorry to say, I'm serious. I wanted you guys to see and possibly act too. Reeboks getting alot of emails about this, join in.
