I've had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Dryden twice. The first time was outside Maple Leaf Gardens on a Sunday morning, and I was so surprised to run into him that I actually forgot to ask for his autograph. Second time, he was in the stands in Buffalo watching a game, and he signed for everyone (including me this time) who asked. I know that doesn't help us T.T.M. guys, but I wanted to share the in person stuff.

About 8 years ago I got 2 cards signed by Dryden through mail sent to the Canadiens Alumni. I didn't ask him for autos right away. I sent him a letter asking him how he was doing. He wrote a letter telling he was fine and to write him back any time. The second letter I wrote I asked a few questions about playing with the Habs and I included 2 cards. He signed the cards but didn't answer my questions. Weird.

In person Mr.Dryden is great he will sign one for everybody. But It is very rare to see him in person...

He doesn't sign in the mail..never did.

as i youngster he was difficult to get in the 70s.. let alone today.
i have gotten autographs in person on 8 x 10 with some help thru freinds.
i was there at the retirement nite this week. Dryden was at his best.. he must of signed hundreds.. he was in a lodge and at every period.. people would gather..and he would sign.. after the game .. he sat and chatted with us all signing at will for at least a good half hour or more.... of course personalized most of them... VP

I got him through the mail about 2 years ago. He was in Selkirk, MB. for a Liberal party thing. I asked him if i would be able to sed a phtoto to him to get signed, he obliged. I sent the photo and got it back signed, and personnalised.
