just got a reply through e-mail , iasked if the players would sign care of the team heres the response:
Thanks for contacting the New York Rangers.
The best way to get in touch with a player or any other member of the organization is to send regular postal mail to the New York Rangers. We forward postal mail to all current and former players. Address your letter to:
PLAYER NAME

They may say that, but for the longest time the rumor was that they just threw mail out. I did get Adam Graves thru the team since he is working in the front office or something. If you do send to any guys I'd say do not send anything to valuable. And with former guys I doubt they will forward to any star guys like Messier. He wouldn't sign anyhow I am sure.

If you try anyone, do not send anything that you do not want to lose. Or use a site like http://www.sportscollectors.net Others keep track of what they have sent. I will only send to a guy if I see someone else has gotten him recently. Saves alot of stamps rather than just sending on an impulse.

Just got back a reply from Rod Gilbert who is currently Director of Special Projects and Community Relations Representative. I sent a card back in Dec of last year to be signed. It basically says that his main responsibilitiesis to aid in raising funds for Garden of Dreams and that the Rangers policy on autograph memorabilia is that it must be for a charitable events and fundraising purposes only. So he sent back my card unsigned. Anybody got a home addy for him?
