Olie Kolzig 92-93 Rochester Americans (Dunkin' Donuts)

This is the only Olie card that i dont own. I got over 6000 cards, every rare card but 92-93 Dunkin Donuts card..Let me know about this one please..Thanks

A fellow Kolzig collector! I got both the Rochester Dunkin Donuts and Kodak cards from the same guy on ebay, and I know that he had more Rochester Americans cards. I will try to find his name, but this was about a year ago, so I am not sure if I can track it down. Hopefully I can help. I have to say that I am jealous that you have all of Olie's cards. I am about 50 cards away from being in your position. I would love to hear about your collection, and how/why you started collecting his cards. If you have any dups available, I may be interested as well!

Do you have any single cards available from the 91/92 Hampton Roads set available that Kolzig was in? I would be interested in the Whitmore and Bernard cards. Thanks.

Good question in the summer of 1997 I went to get my goalie mask painted by a guy name Mike Myers out of Worcester Mass, and thats when I notice a cool looking mask with Godzilla on it. I ask Mike who's was it and he told me a guy by the name of Olaf Kolzig. When the Caps came to Boston in Nov 97 i went to the hotel and try to meet Olie, after a while i saw 2 big guys (the other was Reekie) and one looked like Olie, so i went up and ask if he was Olaf Kolzig and he said "only when I have a good games"..Got my picture with him got a auto on my mask. I went down to D.C last season to watch a few games and Practices, when Olie was walking back from a team meeting I ask him for a picture after 2 years without seeing him, he even knew my name and talked for about 5 minutes. The rest is history... I got 11 game sticks, all his caps/minor cards( I found out I do have the dunkie card) to many cards to count,If any thing is about Olie I have it.
