Just curious, on average what kind of return rate do you get when requesting autos by mail?

I have sent out 3688 requests to date and received 2487 replies for an average of 67%.

Including doubles and cards signed in person, I currently have 3352 autos from 2973 different NHLers (current and retired).

Please feel free to share your results if you wish.

i am no where near your league in terms of numbers of letter sent but have had about 66% rate as well...much better with the Old Timers than with the Big Money (players of the 80's and later) or BM's as i call them...

I have being mailing out to players since 1993. I only mail to players from the 1970's & 80's. My totals are 1431/1826, for a success rate of 78%.

I have a total of 6447 autographed cards from the 1970/71 Opc to 1989/90 Opc sets with no doubles. I got half or more my cards in person between 1984-1990 at Maple Leaf Gardens and hotels.

I know I have not mail out to as many players as most, but I like my success rate.
