Does anyone know where he is? or if he is still alive? He is actually from a small town very close to my house. He was a goalie, who played a few games for montreal along time ago. He was born in 1915 I believe, but I havnt seen anything about him on lost hockey. thanks for any info

Oh wow, thanks. You usually hear things once ina while about local hockey talent around here, but i hadnt heard anything about him, until I looked him up. I live in a small town, and the county is made up of abunch of small towns, so its rare for anyone famous to come out of here. So far, out of my area, the NHL'ers are: Bill Riley, Craig Martin, Mal Davis, Stan Jackson, and Claud Bourque. One guy, Jamie Matthews was selected in the second round of the '91 draft, but never made it. It was a combination of his father, which was his greatest motivater and coach, passing away, his wife becoming pregnant, and a injury that made him decide to hang up the skates, which is kind of a shame, because he had so much talent

Does Bill Riley ever come back to visit? Has anyone gotten him TTM? He seems like a good guy to have come from your area.

He actually lives in the area! He is my neighbor in the summer! My dad and him are best friends, and have been for a while. My dad got to go to caps practises and go to the dressing rooms and everything, one time when they were walking to the rink, my dad had to sign an autograph because they thought he was a player because he was with billy haha:P I've never tried ttm, but i have gotten him to sign a few IP. He is really nice, and im sure he would sign ttm. Im not sure of his addy at the moment, but he lives in a place called northport.
