View Full Version : New York Hounding??

Hi all,
I am going to visit a friend in Manhattan,New York in March. Of course, there are also some NHL games included in this trip, remember I am from Germany:)

I have got several hounding questions, maybe there is someone from NY here, or any other help is appreciated.

The NHL Media Directory said that the Bruins and Islanders will stay here, when playing at the Rangers:

Affinia Dumont, 150 East 34th Street,New York, NY 10016

The Lightning here, when they face the Devils:

Sheraton Suites on the Hudson, 500 Harbor Boulevard, Weehawken, NJ 07086

Has someone any success at these hotels?
When is the best time to get some players in-person? I guess after the morning skate, but I donīt know...?
Would you wait at these teamīs hotels or at the rink to catch them when they leave the arena?

I donīt know at all, any help is welcome.
thanks a lot,

long island is the best

islanders come out front door for practises . you have 100 meters to get them

visiting teams stay at the hotel accros the parking lot and walk to the arena

as far as rangers, they all walk or take subway to msg and there are lots of hounds getting them..visiting teams seemed pretty tough to get
