Did he pass away before the 06-07 Parkhurst come out? If not does anyone have an extra one they would trade to me? I have some deceased players to trade for him or a few other autographed cards.

Don Metz was still with us when the 06/07 Parkhurst set was released featuring him on his first hockey card since the 1940's. I sent this particular card to him to sign. He was gracious enough to sign it for me although he signed in ball point pen which didn't turn out the greatest. I have no plans to sell or trade it but if you are looking for an unsigned copy of the card there is currently one up for sale on Ebay:

I have a unsigned one, just never sent it. I have a unsigned one, just never sent it. Going to try and get the set signed and starting with the deceased when I can and not wait to the end which I did with the Original 6 set. At least there was only 2-3 I needed at that time.

Hello, I was fast enough right after the set came out to get Don to sign some through the mail. He passed away very shortly after I received them in the mail. I always send a blue sharpie with my requests so they look beautiful. I will keep one for my collection but I am willing to trade. Email me at mdp64@aol.com for offers. I am looking for other deceased or hard to find hockey autographs but no current stars.

Also has anyone been able to get Clint Smith to sign his Parkhurst card? I sent to him with money and never received a reply.
