Hey Guys, I've come a long way since officially trying to complete this set. When I started, I had 120/262. After only three months of letters and hounding in-person I now have 204/262. I'm starting to believe that I can really do this. Here is my list of the last 58 needed. If anyone has had any recent success with these guys, please let me know. Thanks.

Maclellan you most likely will see at the draft with the CAps, I got him at a preseason AHL game and he seemed surprised I knew who he was and was good.
Tim Kerr owns a real estate agency in Avalon NJ and I got him thru his office, try to google it.
McKegney was working for a flooring company I believe in ontario and I got him thru the office about a year ago, also try to google that, I lost the addy..

The Gretzky card, I got in-person when he played for the Rangers. He signs the 87-88 card, its the 88-89 card that he doesn't sign.

Yea that's right I screwed up on which card he doesn't sign...His first year Kings card.. Your collecting the Robitaille RC year.. Do you live in T.O, because if you do Claude Lemieux will be there Tuesday...

Hi! My interested was peaked when I heard that Gretzky doesn't sign his first Kings card. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it is the card of him holding up his Kings jersey? I was also wondering if anyone knows why he won't sign this card. Just wondering. Thanks and Happy Easter!

He acknowleged in a coffee table book that came out in the early 90's that he only signed one variation of the 88-89 Topps card for his daughter Paulina. The Topps version is of him holding up the Kings jersey and that is the one that he won't sign. As far as I am aware, he still signs the 88-89 OPC version which pictures him in a Kings jersey posing on the ice.

Believe me, there are a ton!!! Craig Muni and Randy Caryle now don't sign the 87-88 OPC card, Rom Francis won't sign his 91-92 UD card, Kevyn Adams doesn't sign his ITG Florida Panthers card, Guy Lapoint and John Davidson don't sign there Flerr Greats of the Game card etc...

And that's all that I can remember off the top of my head. It makes set collecting very difficult.

Mark Howe won't sign 1989/90 opc card.. I think because he signed it for one of his kids...

I got denied once by Peter Stastny and Patrick Sunstrom when I tried to get them to sign their 92/93 Fleer Ultra cards. But Sunstrom signed Stastny's and vice versa because the cards had one players name and the other picture. I also got Mike Needham from the Penguins through Pentiction and he included a note saying he signed the 93/94 Donruss card with his name but the picture on the front was Ed Patterson or someone, but it was Needham on the back.
