I have a question for you all.... any theories or answers as to why some players do not sign index cards? It seems to me that most will sign trading cards. I'm kinda old school
& love the plain index cards auto's. I figured a few of you have been doing this longer than I.

From what I've heard some players are worried about people copying their signatures from the note cards and using them to gain a profit.

That's the explanation that Murray Costello gave to me.

Cammie Granato's brother, not Tony told me that she does not sign index cards for fear of copying her signature for cheques.

I met with George Lyle and he told me he has 2 different signatures, one for business purposes and the other to sign autographs, because you just don't know about identity theft these days.

Thank you all...that's what I figured. There always has to be a few scumbags to ruin something for all of us.
I would assume with today's technology & it would be easy to copy & resell index cards...there have been some real good fakes on ebay recently - Lemieux etc.
Oh well, I did manage to pick up a few sets from 70 - 80 - 90 on ebay to send out as well.
