Hey guys,

I'm hoping that I can benefit from your expertise. Sharpies don't seem to like the slick coating that are put on contemporary cards. I thought that by rubbing the coating with a rubber dish glove that I could get the coating off. However, I've gotten some back, and still, the sharpie ink tends to bead. Any advice on how to remove the coating without hurting the card?

thanks
Adam

For the cards with the excess amount of gloss on the cards I use a small amount of baby powder, or a soft white eraser to eliminate the gloss.

white eraser, the shofter the better. go to the local dollar store, buy a few different brands and see which one works best for you, then stock up.
