ever received a crushed card?

I just got back a Jim Rutherford card after 30 days or so out. It came back signed in blue sharpie, but it was folded horizontally across in two places, basically crushing the card. This is a thick, 06-07 Parkhurst - it looks like it had to be done on purpose.

I've read that some players bend a card to confound dealers posing as collectors. Any similar experiences?

My cards once & awhile come back crushed or missing because of both Canada & US postal services.. Machine likes to eat a letter ever million or so...But never bent by the player..

I received a card earlier in the year from Daniel Carcillo that was bent from top to bottom.

kay whitmore. it looked like he had sat on the envelope. stress marks all over the cards.

I got one back from Jay Bouwmeester that got bent out of shape pretty good, but the envelope was pretty beat up to, so it looks like the postal service.
