Very impressive to get all those at the same place. I've been to PEI a couple of times and it really is a beautiful place.

Not too sure what Rick is doing now. I didn't get the chance to talk to him before the tournament started and after he had a little too much to drink. Every once and awhile you would see him stagger and then catch himself haha

Nick - do you have any tips for graphing golf tourneys? There's going to be a tournament here with Jonathan Toews, Mike Richards and Nigel Dawes, so I was planning on hitting that up.
Thanks!

I was at the Gretzky Pro Am and had some luck. I found that most guys were very friendly but there will always be one or two who will treat you lousy. I went on the first day (Thursday) when there were not many hounds. The guys also hadn't been bombarded with 3-4 days of requests. I found a spot around the 14th green and just waited as each group came through. Always wait till they are done. Most would stop, chat for a second while they signed and then move on. I would suggest no big things. I had a few cards for each and the odd book. The only guy that was a real knob was Messier. The rest were good to excellent. Have fun.............

Usually when I go to golf tournaments I just try to find a spot near a few teeoffs (usually the clubhouse since 1 and 10 are usually nearby) and then just sit down and wait for players to come by. Almost all tournaments are shotgun start meaning the players start at different holes which means that the more tee offs nearby the most players you have access too. As for big items, I guess it just depends on the tournament you go to. At something like the Gretzky tournament there is most likely going to be tons of people getting autographs, but at local tournaments around my area there is usually no more than 10 or so. This makes a great opportunity for getting things like jerseys signed because the players have a lot more time to sign the item rather than just rushing and giving you a shitty autograph. Aside from that I don't know what else to tell you.
On another note though, make sure that you get the things you want by Toews done early because he isn't the greatest guy in person. I met him at the World's this year and you are lucky to get 2 or 3 thins done and you won't get much more than a j t.
Good Luck, Nick
