Hi,

I know about 5 years ago that Dan was living near Detroit. He was playing games for the Red Wings Oldtimers. Maybe if you contact the Wings Alumni they can forward your request.

Dan Newman still plays with the Red Wing oldtimers. He works as a supervisor for the roads dept in essex county ON. I couldn't find an address for him but here's his fathers. Dad owns Newman trucking out of Cottam ON. Nice guy I'm sure he'd pass it on.

I used to play against Dan in tourneys in the Windsor/Essex Co. area. Pat Ribble also played on his team. In one tournament we lined up for a faceoff in their end and he tells me their goalie is hung over and to shoot right off the faceoff. I do and hit the far post as the goalie falls on his butt reaching for the puck. Newman had to go off the ice, he was laughing so hard. In the lounge after, he comes over,says thanks, buys me a beer and we have a nice talk.
BTW, We were winning 5-3 with 5 min. left till he scores 1 and sets up 2 more to beat us 6-5.This would have been early '90's.
