I'm just wondering what experiences were sending to the Maple Leafs. I've sent to guys who I thought were pretty good signers, but of the 7 or 8 I've sent, I've never gotten anything back. Have the Leafs gone Rangers-style and stopped forwarding mail to players?

I got all i sent back from the Marlies but none of the ones i sent to current players with the Leafs. Maybe they don't get them? Coaches and Managers do and i got them back but none from players. I have stopped sending to Toronto. Figure they are too good for me. What would happen if they ever made the playoffs?

Speaking from experience the Maple Leafs are VERY hit and miss. I've had some guys send stuff back within weeks and other guys that haven't sent back at all.

Out of the current players I've had success with Antropov (3 months), Blake (over a year), Colaiacovo (always a long wait), Kaberle (close to 2 years), Kubina (a couple of weeks), Stajan (several months), and White (several months). These successes have all been obtained over the last few years.

Of the current players that I would recommend saving stamps ... Joseph (I had sent to him when he signed with Calgary last season, still nothing), Ponikarovsky (I sent to him about 2 years ago, still nothing). Steen (I sent to him during his rookie season, over 2 years now).

I've sent to tons of players c/o the team over the years and I guess I'm running below a 50% return rate. However I often have luck with former Leafs after they change teams. A guy like Bryan Marchment, when with the Leafs I never got my items back but when he played with Calgary he signed 6 cards for me. Tom Fitzgerald was playing for the Leafs when I sent a request, but a lock-out and a full season in Boston (over 2 years later) allowed him to catch up with his mail and sign my cards for me.

It is really tough to judge a lot of these players, no matter what team, that's why I only send what's expendable.

Good luck because at the end of the day you just never know who will sign.

it took ten months for Antropov to sign my cards.

I have had very little success with either the Leafs, Raptors or Marlies. Perhaps it is an MLSE thing? The only current Leaf to sign for me through the mail was Matt Stajan and he was fairly quick. I have not received anything else back from the Leafs. From the Marlies, the only one to sign for me was Greg Gilbert. I agree that they seem to be better when they change teams tough.

What address has been successful for anyone c/o Marlies? I have sent to the Ricoh with no luck.

I also got Gilbert through the Marlies. Also sent to Ondrus last spring, but no luck. I was able to get Gilbert through the Ricoh address.

Each time I've sent to the Marlies it's been the Ricoh addy.

I guess the secret to the Leafs is to start complaining about them. Got Kubina back today in 8.5 months :D

If ever in Toronto they practice at Lakeshore Lions Arena Come before or after practice and wait out in the parking lot for them to come out and so far i've never been turned down for an autograph

I've had success with many of the Marlies. As for this year's Leafs, so far I've had luck with Grabovski & Kubina.
