View Full Version : eBay question for Canadians

I'm trying to poll hockey card buyers from Canada -- when you search and/or buy on eBay, do you go to eBay.com or eBay.ca? The same account works on either site, but I have found that the search results can be slightly different (less results returned from eBay.ca).

The reason I ask is that I get a commission from eBay if I direct a buyer to an auction, but if I send someone to an eBay.com link and they log in and bid on the exact same item on eBay.ca, I don't get the commission because they are technically two different sites.

Thanks,

Ralph

Thanks, that is good to know.

The reason it is important is that I can earn a commission if I refer someone eBay and they buy something. The problem is that if I refer someone to eBay.com and they then log in and bid on eBay.ca, I don't get a commission -- and vice-versa. So I want to try and show the links to the right site based on what people actually do.

I always go to eBay.com, the reason being that some sellers don't have it built into their auction that they ship to Canada, even though they might actually ship there.

Going to eBay.ca restricts these auctions from showing up.
