Why did they do this?? It was great the way it was and now you have to buy "points" to buy stuff. Who's idea was this?? Has anyone used the new system? I'm glad I bought all the oddball stuff I needed off of there already.

not sure what you're referring to- do you mean the Marketplace, where you can still pick up oddball singles directly from the dealer's stores? that hasn't changed, as far as I can tell.
I just bought a bunch of cards there about a month or so ago-
might want to check that again.
happy hockey & holidays!

it was less than a month ago that they changed it, you have to buy "points" just to be able to use the store.

I just bought some cards a couple days ago and didn't have to buy any points.

I buy frequently from the Beckett marketplace, including two very recent orders. I did not have to buy any "points" either. In spite of the recent changes to other parts of the Beckett website, the marketplace seems to me to be essentially the same as it has been for years.

According to the Beckett website:
"Beckett points are the currency used to purchase Pricing Subscriptions and conduct Trades in the Beckett community".
You don't need any points to buy cards from dealers on the website.
