But the Canadian Post Office still honors old stamps, correct?

theres some sort of guarantee on the stamp pack somewhere, saying that old stamps are accepted for a grace period, not sure how long though.

notice the "P" on the 54 cent stamp... or old 52 cent stamps... that means "permanent". Basically if you use this, it's honored forever. even if the rates go up. I have a bunch at home that cost me 52 cents but I can continue to use 'em because now the "P" just stands for 54 cents.

as for the non-permanent stamps... I'm sure there is a grace period. But I'm not sure what it is.

I am using the 93-cent Canadian stamps from Canada to the U.S. I am from the U.S., and use the Canadian stamps when writing to a Canadian player (so my SASE can make it back). I just sent out 3 letters using 93-cent stamps as the return postage -- I hope they make it back. In the past, Canada has "honored" the stamps, as I got several cards back with 89-cent stamps on them, even though the price had gone up once or twice since.
