I've sent stuff and had it come back unsigned. He's great in person but for some reason not through the mail. Just my experience though.

I was able to get all 10 of his Original 6 & all the 64-5 Parkhust Missing Link cars done over 18 months, but this was 10+ years ago. He use to be amazing TTM.

That's a drag that he doesn't sign through the mail anymore like Mahovlich, I have met them both a long time ago and they were very friendly at then. Hull was cracking jokes and such but that was in the 1990's. To bad thing shave to change.

I agree that Bobby Hull was terrific in person. The only thing that has changed is that he, Makita and Espo are all involved big time with promotions for the Black Hawks and it would seem are doing a great job. MIght be big time and money in that venture and maybe he doesn't get home to florida that often. Who knows?

Bobby, Stan Mikita, Tony Esposito and Denis Savard have all been hired by the Hawks to be "Ambassadors" to the Chicago community. It's been rumored that all four are collecting six-figures for their time and the appearances usually still involve a signing fee or the purchase of some product that they've endorsed. Bobby has been the one who has been most visible and is doing a signing in the Chicago area next weeked. Prior to the Wrigley game against the Wings, Mikita was on the radio talking about the old days when they would show up for $100 and sign for hours without charging the fans. He then started talking about eBay and people selling his autograph and said that's why he has no problem charging what he does to sign.

I've said it before and I'll say it again--Bobby Hull is the greatest in-person signer out there--PERIOD. He takes his time to talk to you and then gives you a great signature on whatever it is you want signed. If you meet him enough through appearances, he will remember your name the next time he sees you in line. I brought my stepson to see him when the boy was just a 6 or 7 and had no teeth across his upper gumline. Bobby popped out his bridge and then serenaded him with "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth." He's the best!
