Canadian vs US responses

Has anyone noticed a difference in response rate from players living in Canada vs those in the US? I've done ttm for years, but never tried players outside the US. Do players seem to respond better in one place than the other?

I live in Canada and I receive the majority of my mailings within Canada back.
I have a much lower success rate when mailing to the U.S.
I am guessing it's just the fact that it is traveling further and crossing the border. More of a chance for letters to get lost. More hands to pass through.
I would say I'm about 85% in Canada vs. 65% U.S. I'm sure it is just the opposite for those living in the States.

I live in the states and I would say I have the same results just flip flopped. I bitch to myself about Canada Post all the time.
