I was lucky enough to have Mr. Check to answer my request this past July 21. The signature was just a jumble at that point, but I was happy to get anything back. One of the great hockey names of all time. His passing reminds me - we've pretty much let the "Oldest Living NHLers" thread fall by the wayside. Anybody have anything new to report; any new contacts or addresses?

Found out some time ago that Alex Ritson died July 18, 2008.

I should really get to updating that list, I think there are at least 5 people on it who are deceased. will get to that later if i have time.
