I have an opportunity pick up some German League (DEL) cards and I was wondering if anyone needed any? There are a ton of North American players from both major junior and U.S. college currently playing in the DEL and I've always found these cards unique additions to my collection.

I'd be interested to know too. Just the base set though as I'm not into all the inserts/chase cards.

Since I only needed a couple of cards I was hoping to find some other collectors who collect specific players like me. I would get the cards they wanted and be able to make deals with them.

Thanks for the quick reply. I used to get sets first right from the company - complete w/ commemorative binders & everything!, but the last couple seasons my inquiries have gone unanswered. I also had a e-mail contact in Germany who I corresponded w/ regularly, but for some reason our e-mails cannot be forwarded anymore ??? So I am missing both last year's & this year's sets :-(

The last couple of seasons the sets sold in packs/boxes/cases just like mainstream NHL cards. (Actually the only year they did not have boxes but team bags only was 96/97) Prices for the boxes were rather high as they lately added rediculously lots of inserts, parallels, etc. and split them up to basically 4 sets per year (preiview, series1, series2, exclusive edition). Boxes go from 40 Euros for a current 08/09 Series 2 Box for example while a single pack of the 08/09 exclusive edition (14 cards) goes for 9.99 Euro. On the aftermarket, though complete sets of basecards for the regular Series go for around 20 to 30 euros usually. Older years lose on value/price rather quickly. For example a 07/08 box goes for 15 Euros at this point and complete sets of basecards for as low as 10 Euros for the 02/03 set for example

Also, if anyone has DEL cards to purchase or trade, I would be happy to work with you. I have trading stock of US minor cards.
