Hello

Has anyone ever tried sending a jersey to any of the hockey greats to get their sigs? I have a Canadiens jersey with 1/2 dozen sigs on it, but would love to get guys like Lafleur, Shutt, etc. What if I sent it with a prepaid envelope?

thanks for your help

Big risk........ wouldn't do it myself, even with registered shipping. Wait til a show.

kind of tough for myself. I am in Manitoba, and not too many good signings here. If the signer is in Canada, I could send a priority envelope included with the jersey. If I have the addresses filled out, all the signer would have to do is put it in the mail. I wouldn't want to cause any work, it just would be nice to have.

I've had success in the past, but always had a connection who could help me get the Jersey signed (dropping it off or picking it up). It's a really risky venture, and quite expensive.

Good Luck

A few years back i sent a jersy thru the mail to get signed, i had no problems it was from jean beliveau, but i send a 3x5 card asking if they will sign something thru the mail, when i send a card out for them to sign. might wanna try that first. any questions rolldan06@yahoo.com.

One of mine is from Beliveau as well. My best advice is to make contact first by phone/mail whatever and ensure it will get done first. It may take time but it's worth it to get the Jersey signed and returned

good suggestion. I think I will send a letter to them first asking them if they would sign it.

thanks

I CANT BELIEVE THE PRICES THEY ARE CHARGING FOR AUTOGRAPHS AT THAT SHOW....MAKES ME GLAD I GOT ALL THOSE GUYS BEFORE THE AUTOGRAPH CRAZE MADE COLLECTING SUCH A COSTLY VENTURE. DO PEOPLE REALLY PAY $100 FOR A GORDIE HOWE AUTO?
