I watched hockey from 1:00 pm today all the way through midnight and never got bored. I can watch a game or two of football but after that I'm done.
I was an instant fan from the time my dad took me to my first game back in 1971 and have been hooked since.
Hockey has speed, finesse, hitting, rebounds, deflections and the entire team playes every game except for the backup goaltender.
The only bad thing about it is that its difficult to follow on t.v. and with HD television that will hopefully help the game grow in the United States. I remember going to the games and rarely was there a sellout but now good luck getting tickets for the game. If every city in the United States was like Pittsburgh the top networks would be bidding for the rights for the NHL.
There isn't another sport close to being the game that hockey is.
