It occurs every year, a large number of fans seem to appear out of nowhere claiming to be fans of the latest 'cinderella'.

Since I start watching hockey (5 years ago) my favorite team was the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and by the way my favorite player is Paul Kariya

Anaheim Mighty Ducks. I've been around since 1995, for the good times(beating Phoenix in 97 and the Selanne-Kariya years) and bad (trading Teemu :(, years and years of failure and frustration).

HA HA to all you 4 week old Ducks fans. You're newly acquired favorite team just got spanked off the ice by the Devils. I'd like to see how many Ducks fans there are next year when they miss the playoffs!

You are the first person I've ever known that says the Thrashers are their favorite team. You definitely have guts to announce it and I admire the fact that you're faithful to a team that's pathetic, unlike all of those band wagon Ducks fans. Funny how none of them have spoken up since they lost.

The Thrashers will make the playoffs. To be honest don't know when, but they have a good coach in Hartley. I have faith in them. All three of my teams haven't made the playoffs, hopefully one of them will. :)

You know its funny, I haven't heard anything from those cinderella loving 4 day old duck fans. Ofcourse there will be their real fans, but all those big duck fans who magically appeared during the playoffs aren't cheering anymore?

probably gone back to cheering for the local team, until Playoffs 2004.

I wonder who their favorite team will be this year?

You know Harv, I was thinking the same thing. Everybody on these forums magically became Duck fans during the playoffs and I haven't heard a peep from any of them since they started the season 0-4-1-0. Funny how that happened. I seem to remember prophesizing that very thing a few months ago.

By the way, my computer crashed a few weeks ago and I lost my password for these forums. I went through all of the forgotten password processes and still never got it. Any ideas on what to do?

Disregard the last half of that, I got it all worked out.
