Hasek is thinking about returning to the NHL again. Is it just me or is the retire and return over and over again getting a bit old? As long as players are capable of being competitive I have no problem with them playing. Lemieux and Howe are great examples of this, but I'm sick of these guys retiring and then deciding they're still good enough to play. If your body can take it and you can compete don't retire in the first place much less do it 2 or 3 times.

Hasek is awful at this, he said in 1999, "1 more year" then in 2000 "one more year" then in 2001 "one more year" finally in 2002 he retired with a cup. now in 2003 he coming back? Does anyone else wanna throw up?

Go out on top as he did. Don't come back and taint it like Michael Jordan did on a losing team and being ripped by everyone on the team from the owner to your fellow players.

Although I don't really like to see guys get seriously injured, I kind of hope Hasek breaks a leg or ankle, maybe then he would stay home and enjoy retirement rather than piss us all off by making yet another come-back.

Maybe he wants to get away from the publicity when he attacked that player in the inline league he was in.

Why the heck do you want him to break his leg? It doesn't really matter what he says, having a top-5 EVER goalie around is good for the league!

I gave my reasons already. Maybe you should try reading the posts in their entirety before you respond to them.

2.09 GAA GOOD ENOUGH TO KEEP PLAYING.
PEOPLE RETIRE FROM JOBS EVERYDAY AND THEN GET BORED AND GO BACK TO WORK SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE.
