leclair's hole in buffalo's net, 2001

i just read in the hockey news a recap of the incident in the 2001 playoffs when john leclair was awarded a goal and then later it was discovered there was a hole in the net. i thought his shot went into the goal and out through the hole. the story says it went IN through the hole.

does anyone know the story and the details??

Leclair shot the puck from the point and Hasek had his pad down covering the bottom part of the net. The puck was shot from the point and went through the side of net and into the net. Everyone thought the puck went it, but you could see from Haseks body language theres no way it could have went it. They called it a goal and along time after the realized the puck actually went throught the net, but since the play had gone on so long after they were forced to let the "Phantom" Goal stand.
