MARTIN LAPOINTE HAD MINOR KNEE SURGERY AND IS STILL WITH BRUINS AND SHOULD BE BACK NEXT GAME.
GIRARD WHO SIGNED THIS SUMMER WITH BRUINS WAS IN BAD CAR ACCIDENT AND BROKE HIS PELVIS IN 4 PLACES AND WILL BE OUT FOR SEASON AND WHO KNOWS IF HE CAN PLAY AGAIN.

There is a Martin Lapointe that plays defense for the Augusta Lynx this season. He finished last season with them with the second worst record in the league.

those guys are both still w/ boston. lapointe is back from his injury now. hes doing alright i guess. and its too bad for girard. he was going to be a pretty good defenseman. idk if he'll play again. it might be risky w/ an injury like he had cuz if he got hit wrong it could cause some problems.
