Don't you think we start a Union called "Fans Against Star Archive" (FASA) We can e-mail them, tell them our thoughts, and maybe persuade them to turn it back into a free service. BTW, why did they change to a pay-for-addy system???

I don't have the skills to do so, but perhaps you ought to start a free autograph site and post addresses.

I used them when they were a free resource to get in touch with a number of players.

The glory of both democracy and a free market economic system is that folks can charge for their services if they feel that there's a market for it.

While not all of us turn around and sell the stuff that folks sign, a whole lot do. Perhaps the Star Archivers just want a piece of the action.

I know that if I saw a mess of folks making dough off my good works while I had trouble making ends meet, I'd take a serious look at trying to exploit my works for economic gain.

But then again, I'm just some guy who likes to eat on a daily basis.
