Federal hockey league

Does anyone know whats going on with the Federal League that was supposed to start early 2004.
Their website seems unchanged for the past few months or so and I was wondering if its still in the works or not.

I was hearing some grumbles elsewhere abouth the FHL. There some people who tried out, and heard nothing back. It could be developing into a scam... They were taking the money, running a camp and that was the end of it. I'll be really surprised if the FHL happens.

wasn't the federal league that league that the charlestown chiefs were in, in the movie slapshot.

roaddogg, you're right, the Charlestown Chiefs did play in the Federal League in slapshot. But I don't think there's ever actually been a professional Federal Hockey League that took the ice, I could be wrong though. It was rumored that when the East Coast Hockey Leauge and West Coast Hockey League combined, that one of their options for a name change was actually Federal Hockey Leauge.
