Best trades

The Garon trade was the best I've seen in a while. They got Radek Bonk in return. The Habs need big guys. People who are the size of Koivu and Petrov won't help. You need a Simon or a Chara.

Don't overlook Cristobal Huet! He's an exellent backup, and a very capable starter when he needs to be. He was a big reason LA made such a push for the playoffs, as he started almost forty games last season after the infamous Roman Chechmanek was injured. Huet reminds me in some ways of an early Miikka Kiprusoff and I hope the Bob Gainey and Claude Julien will give him a chance to develope.

Sad to see Garon go, although it was a great trade.
