I just read that Joe Thronton has signed with HC Davos of the Swiss Elite League. If anyone has any information on this or any other Europe-bound players please post hear.

The reason Joe Thornton is going to Europe is not because of the lockout. It is because he is fed up with the referees. He said himself that he was going to leave the NHL if the refs did not shapen up. Joe would have stayed but he was fed up with the referees.

That's not true. He will only play for Davos if there will be a lockout.

Peter Forsberg is supposedly going back to MoDo if there's a lockout. But then again, he's supposedly to go back to MoDo every year, so it wouldn't surprise me if he sticks around again.

Forsberg is going back to Sweden almost for sure. He'll play on the team his dad coaches.
