Okay, now that you've told me the biggest bust and worst draft pick, how about the worst draft in general. I believe that the worst draft is the 1996 draft. The top 10 picks were
1) Chris Phillips- Average defenseman
2) Andrei Zyuzin- Reviving his career in Minnesota
3) J.P. Dumont- Average Forward
4) Alexandre Volchkov- Alexandre who?
5) Richard Jackman- Poor defenseman for the Penguins
6) Boyd Devereaux- Defensive Forward
7) Eric Rasmussen- Below Average Forward
8) Jonathan Aitken- Below Average Defensman
9) Ruslan Salei- Good Defensive Defenseman
10) Lance Ward- Below Average Defenseman
It doesn't get much better from there. It can be redeemed by some late round picks such as Tomas Kaberle and Sami Salo.
What do you think is the worst draft?

1992 and 1996.

92 wasn't great, but 96 was much worse. At least in 92 names like:
Roman Hamrlik, Alexei Yashin, Nikolai Khabibulin, Marcus Ragnarsson, Dan McGillis, Anson Carter, Stephane Yelle, Adrain Aucoin, Valeri Bure, Martin Straka, Sergei Gonchar, Jeri Lehtinen, and others came out. Doesn't look like 96 produced a whole lot, but a couple from 96 still have time, many of them have not yet hit their prime, others have passed it. I would say Marcus Nilson, Adreas Dackell, and Marco Sturm weren't bad picks from 96 though. They are still young and have plenty of potential.
