Well its been discussed before. But with no progress I'm not sure about this season. Let's hope for atleast a reduced 48 game season like 94--95. The players seem less confident in the NHL too. Morozov heads to Russia. Now the future star Rick Nash of Columbus has signed with the HC Davos of the Swiss Elite League. I wasnt expecting to see a young promising player like Nash to sign with another league. But, expecting a lock out, can't blame him.

I am interested if they will be broadcasting European games this year, especially the Swiss Elite League, because of how many NHLer's will be playing there. As for the Rick Nash signing, I'm not surprised at all. First of all, he is young and needs to play more than a Dave Anderchyuk or other NHLers. I'm also not surprised that he signed with HC Davos, which even before Joe Thornton signed, they had fromer NHLer's Jonas Hoglund and Reto von Arx.
Last of all, some people will speak English in Switzerland, where there are many different languages spoken.
