Trying to figure out what the record for the fastest slap shot is...any help would be nice!

Al Macinnis and Bobby Hull also had really hard shots. Plus, I think I remember hearing that Shawn Heins hit 103 mph at the AHL skills competition.

Did'nt the Guiness book of records record Bobby Hull's slap shot @ 104 mph?

I think it was Al Iafrate of the Capitals. I think it was in '92 or '93. I'm pretty sure the shot was listed at 105 mph.
