Yes, the United States Hockey League has a team called the Des Moines Buccaneers. That is the only team I could find.

The USHL is not a professional league, it's junior. sabrecruch7 is right about a pro team going to Des Moines next season, the Iowa Stars will play in the American Hockey League.
