Does anybody know who Mike Sgroi is in camp with? He had a one year deal with Utah of AHL and was sent down to Idaho of ECHL. I cannot find where he is playing at in 2004.

Wheeling’s Sgroi Suspended One Game
October 20, 2004

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Wednesday that it has suspended Wheeling left wing Mike Sgroi for one game as a result of his actions in an ECHL preseason game against Dayton on October 19.

Sgroi was assessed an Aggressor penalty with less than five minutes remaining in the game which is an automatic one-game suspension under ECHL Rule 26.

Sgroi will miss Wheeling’s game at Toledo (Oct. 22).

It's a hockey fight in Canada: The Canadian Press reports that people paid between $35 and $200 Saturday to watch the inaugural Battle of the Hockey Enforcers (we can't make these things up) in Prince George, British Columbia. Sixteen players skated to center ice and fought for 60 seconds or until the referee called a halt. Dean Mayrand, 27, earned the $62,000 first prize with a win over Mike Sgroi, 27, who played for the Penguins' Wilkes-Barre/Scranton minor-league club in the American Hockey League last season. Mayrand plays in the fight-happy North American Professional Hockey League. Mayrand finished 4-0 but remembered almost none of it after being hit in the head so many times. Ouch!
