Is there any way to find out what player used a perticular stick, via the serial number on the stick used by the L.A. Kings in 1984-1985?

His name should be stamped on the shaft, or at least his number in marker on the shaft. Unfortunately I can't think of a way to track a stick by serial number. Those usually only note what brand and series (i.e. Koho Revolution) a stick is.

yeah the name is usually stamped on it. some guys have there own sticks made for them so it is ilke painted on. or however they put the companies logo and stuff on,they put the guys name on that way as well. never heard of tracking it by serial #.

There is a number 5 written in marker on the shaft of the stick. So, it must have been used by Brian Engblom. Thanks guys.. I have a game stick that has been signed by the entire team of that year.
