Russ Anderson
Got Russ Anderson back today and he signed 3/3 with a brief not about how my 2 '78-'79 Topps cards were actually Tom Edur's photos but his stats on the back. He signed the fronts anyways. Now I'm thinking of sending one of the cards to Edur but his address is in Estonia. Anyone ever wrote to a player in Estonia? Anyone ever gotten back Tom Edur?

I got back Tom Edur in 2002. I sent to him in Estonia by accident (long story) and he paid for the postage to return it. Nice guy!

Goldenskates,
That's encouraging. I'll give him a shot. By the way, we have the time and space to hear your long story about "accidentally" writing to an NHLer in an Eastern bloc country. Go ahead.

Tom Edur
How I "accidentally" sent to Tom Edur in Estonia: Actually, it not so much a long story, it's more an embarassing one. I found his address on an old defunct webside and redied my card to send it out. I assumed it was a Canadian address so I just used regular postage. For some reason, Canada Post just pushed it through despite it being short on postage. Mr. Edur had to cover my postage shortage upon his reception of my letter. He also added his own International Estonian postage for the return. Even though he had to pay for postage out of his own pocket (twice), he still made an effort to accomodate a fan. I was thoroughly impressed!

Dave Feamster
I got Dave Feamster today and he personalized the two I sent him in just over 2 weeks.
