    Oldest Living NHL goalie

I always thought that former Detroit Red Wing Connie Dion was the oldest living former NHL goalie. I've heard though that another goalie 2yrs. older then Dion is still alive by the name of Nick Damore. Nick played a single game in the 1941-42 season with the Boston Bruins in place of an injured Frank Brimsek and got a win. Has anyone heard anything or a whereabouts of Damore?

Connie Dion is the oldest confirmed living goalie, I have questions marks next to some names (George Abbott), but I'm pretty sure just about everyone else is deceased.

Your welcome! I'm waiting for my Francis to come back, so hopefully any day since he's usually pretty quick I believe.

I'm always happy to help (and receive help) for the oldest NHL'ers. They won't be around forever!! :/

One of the best responces I ever received via ttm was from Emile Francis. He wrote about growing up in the Depression how his father died and how his mother kept the family going! among other things.Emile made me cry!

Does anybody have an address for Doug Jackson ? He played 6 games for Chicago in the 1947-48 season. hockey-reference doesn't have a date of death for him, so he will be 85 in December...
