    Carey Price

Yeah, he may pump gas @ Petro Can or go fishing. Either way, he'll be 5.5 million richer.

He's a very young, immature guy playing in a tough city with expectations for the team and the goalie sky high. A person has to have a certain emotional outlook to bypass the jeers and I don't think he does. Tonight, Auld let in a softie and the crowd was calling for Price.

I'd love to know what Gauthier was thinking when he made the Halak trade and especially why he made the trade a week or so before the deadline. It just doesn't add up, but then again, Canadiens' management has being going down the tubes for years now.

As long as we stay far enough ahead of the Leafs, I'm a happy camper.

    Carey Price

Well he is not the first goalie with lots of high expectations that just have not come to fruition.Age may be a factor, but lots of young goalies have thrived in the NHL.I think the Canadians traded Halek ,so as to show that they still beleived in Price.Somewhere along the line a player has got to stop making excuses and show what he has or does not have. This season is Careys. If he cannot rise to the occasion ,the only thing the Canadians are guilty of is drafting a player that did not live up to the hype or expectations. It happens cant do much about it.And as of right now Carey appears to be in that class of player.Maybe he will prove me wrong. As for Halek he was great in the playoff run,but that does not make a career.I think at the end of the day,Patrick Roy he will not be,Steve Penney like maybe.

It's because Price still a prospect. He is very young for a goalie and he had great stats in the past. A 1st round pick.

Maybe Halak is juste an other Tim Thomas. The Bruins sign him with a big contract 2 years ago and check Thomas today ??? They all want to get rid of him. Same thing for Huet. It's not necessarily the case for Halak but it's not rare than a goalie fall after a magic season. It's a better idea to trade him at the right time.

The only problem is that Price is not very good in this year pre-season

    Polarmist,

Sergio is now doing the colour commentary for radio station CJAD in Montreal, so you might want to consider sending your card c/o the station.
When Murray Wilson was doing colour last year, I sent a card to him at the station and received it back -- took many months, though.

I sent to Wilson during the summer. I don't know if I will receive something back...

I don't think your wait will be nearly as long as mine for Murray Wilson.

I have a small traders list -- mostly pictures, a few cards, but nothing you can't get yourself via TTM. Is there someone specific you're looking for?
